Career Support Continues After Graduation

Whether you are an undergraduate or graduate student, all new grads retain full career services support from our student-facing team for the entire first year after graduation. We are eager to help you secure your post-graduation plans and launch well into your professional future!

Young alumni can also take advantage of our Alumni Career & Professional Development programming that further supports our DU alumni community in their career advancement goals.

  • Career Advising Appointments

    Post-graduation, some things don’t change. For the first year after graduation, all DU alums receive the same career services they did as students. Don’t know where to go? Find your career office below. Nearly all new graduates can also schedule appointments online by visiting Pioneer Careers Online.

    Alumni Career & Professional Development team regularly hosts live and virtual programs covering a wide array of topics including career advancement, job search, career transitions, networking and leadership topics. Engage as a young alum to jump-start your career.

    Once you hit the 1-year anniversary of your graduation, our Alumni Career & Professional Development team will support you throughout your professional journey with personalized resume reviews and quick career coaching hours. Learn more.

     

  • Pioneer Careers Online Job Board and Recruiting Event Portal

    Your Pioneer Careers Online account, including access to an active job board including a wide array of position types, continues after graduation. Through Pioneer Careers Online, you also have access to recruiting events being held by our employer partners that are actively hiring as well as access to register for career fairs.

  • Tell Us Your Post-Graduation Plans

    Have you secured your post-graduation plans? Perhaps you are looking for a job, taking a break to volunteer, have landed a job, or been admitted to graduate school? Please take a moment to give us an update! Sharing your post-graduation plans helps with DU’s rankings thus increasing the value of your DU degree in the market! Login to Pioneer Careers Online and simply select the Profile tab to update your Career/Post-Graduation outcomes.

     

  • Connect with DU Alumni

    Would you like to connect with DU alums for support with your job search or transition to the professional world? Check out the DU Career Network  to find DU alumni that have volunteered to support your professional goals!

    As a new grad, we also encourage you to join one of the many DU groups on LinkedIn including the University of Denver Alumni group with 12,000+ members. Most DU colleges offer their own groups as well.

Alumni Affinity Groups 

Alumni of ACTION represents University graduates from the Black, Asian, Indigenous, LGBTQIA and Latinx communities. The volunteer-led groups give DU graduates the chance to work with their DU classmates and fellow alumni to address local and global challenges while providing opportunities for the next generation.
