I teach technology oriented journalism courses that equip students with the tools they need to succeed in a fast-moving modern media environment.
Professional Biography
Andrew Matranga is a versatile media educator and media professional with two decades of experience in the classroom and in the field. He is capitalizes on emerging trends with well-crafted, interactive lesson plans. He brings to every project a unique perspective, with a foundation in editorial design, print and digital publishing, and video production. He has a wealth of practical knowledge when it comes to user experience, content production, change management, and monetizing social media—crucial elements that can be applied to any modern-day journalism effort. His current project on campus involves The Clarion, DU's student-produced news outlet, and the shift to a digital-first model for editorial production and content distribution.
