How are parents coping with the new challenges of digital and mobile media? In this presentation, Dr. Lynn Schofield Clark reviews interview-based research on this subject that is featured in her 2012 book, The Parent App: Understanding Families in a Digital Age (Oxford University Press). Come and learn the latest on cyberbullying, sexting, dumbing-down, distraction, and more, and debate these new phenomena as Clark sets them in the larger context of research into family communication, positive parenting practices, and the enduring digital divide
