  Black Male Initiative Summit 2013 | |  |
April 19, 2013
8:00 AM - 3:30 PM
2000 E. Asbury Ave.
Denver, CO 80208

In partnership with Denver metro area schools, the Center for Multicultural Excellence is hosting the 4th annual Black Male Initiative Summit (BMIS) on Friday, April 19. This year’s theme is I am the Master of My Fate: Leadership, Education and Black Male Identity, that will serve to cultivate the leadership potential of young Black male students. Our goal is to ensure that every 8th and 9th grade Black male participant leaves with a better understanding of their identity as a Black male and what it takes to become a leader in his personal life, school, and community and to inspire these young men to focus on high academic achievement.
The Summit’s highly interactive workshops will provide you with the tools to empower and encourage strong leadership skills by modeling the attributes of successful students and leaders. Join us and dress for success (Dress Code: Business Casual) and bring your “A” game! Register today to participate in this powerful and exciting event. Space is limited.
