The Women's Library Association & Friends of Penrose Library (WLA)
The Women’s Library Association
& Friends of Penrose Library (WLA) is an association of DU alumni and
friends who are dedicated to the premise that a great university must have at
its heart a great library. Members are concerned with keeping that heart strong,
benefiting both the University of Denver and the community at
large.
Since 1954, the WLA has brought together some of the
best and brightest individuals of the Denver metro area to learn together and
take part in philanthropic endeavors that support the University of Denver’s
Penrose Library.
Consider joining WLA as it offers a stimulating lecture series, operates one of Denver’s best used book stores, and hosts special events
in some of DU’s finest venues to raise funds for Penrose Library. WLA members
are well known throughout the Denver area for their generosity and interest in
academics.
