Alumni Symposium is an annual event that highlights the rich academic tradition at the University of Denver. Chancellor Robert D. Coombe initiated the program in the fall of 2007 as a way to engage alumni with the intellectual life at DU.  The Symposium is designed to appeal to anyone with an interest in lifelong learning.

Over the course of two days, alumni come together to participate in classes covering a variety of topics and timely world issues taught by outstanding DU faculty. In addition to time in the classroom, attendees listen to keynote addresses by distinguished DU graduates and enjoy stimulating discussions with fellow alumni over meals. Through this experience, alumni can continue to benefit from a DU education just as DU’s current students do today.
