Affinity Groups

Affinity Groups at DU are a great way to stay connected in an area of personal interest. Groups are organized specifically around a special interest or unifying purpose. Academic units, both graduate and undergraduate, have devoted staff and volunteers who manage groups and plan activities for their graduates. These groups help to keep alumni with similar academic backgrounds in touch with the University. Other groups actively promote the success of students, faculty/staff and alumni of a specific ethnicity, enhancing opportunities for their communities and supporting an inclusive campus. The Latino Alumni Association and the African American Alumni Association are two examples of strong affinity groups that connect alumni back to DU.
