The Vegas Network

The Neon Capital of the World shines crimson and gold when the Vegas Network connects. With over 600 DU community members calling this oasis in the desert home, there are tremendous opportunities to meet up for watch parties and the annual service project. Whether you plan to call Las Vegas home, or are just stopping off for a few days, the Vegas Network is eager to connect with you and is open to alumni, parents, current students, and friends of DU. Connect with your Network Leaders below or reach out to your staff liaison to learn how to get more connected. We can’t wait to hear from you!

Meet Corey Nyman

Hello! I am the Vice President of Operations for The Nyman Group and am passionate about the total Food & Beverage experience, believing that in an operation, “You need to be the consummate host, always anticipating guest needs – even beyond the culinary elements – to give them an extraordinary experience, from the moment they walk through the door until they leave. It’s important to make each and every guest feel special in some fashion.” I have been able to transition this care and zeal for the guest into the development of new projects for the organization along with day to day operations working with clients domestically and internationally, making my home in the Entertainment Capital of the World, Las Vegas, Nevada. I am a partner and founder of Labor Wines, a boutique wine project from Oregon’s Willamette Valley, starting with the 2009 vintage.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management from the University of Denver and played Lacrosse at the university; I currently sit on the Executive Advisory Board at the Knoebel School of Hospitality Management, Daniels College of Business at the university and participates in the LEAD Mentorship Program at the Knoebel School.
